Pursued by blood-thirsty mutineers and ravenous beasts from the forgotten past, they struggle to reach the only bastion of safety on an island inhabited by a remnant of a world that had disappeared before the first man ever walked the earth.
Once again set sail on a quest for gold and a treasure for more valuable than any mere chest of coins and jewels. The Treasure of Dragon Island is the second book in a series by Steven Rowe. Even though I have not read the first book, I was able to easily get into the story in the first chapter. I found it to be a different and most interesting of pirate adventure with dragons and other creatures, along with a bit of romance, mixed in. While I don't normally read pirate adventure books, I started reading this one as my grandson (age 16) recommended it. I was using his Kindle e-reader when I was visiting, and I wasn't able to finish the book before heading home. So I purchased the Kindle edition and downloaded it to my smart phone to finish reading the story. This book can stand on its own, but a reader would benefit from reading all three books in the series.Product details

very enjoyable to read it's was easy to lose myself in the story
The Treasure of Dragon Island is the second book in a series by Steven Rowe. Even though I have not read the first book, I was able to easily get into the story in the first chapter.
